Where is Rainbow Scout Reservation?

Rainbow Scout Reservation is our camp in Morris. We hold our resident camp programs here every summer. We have over 400 acres of wilderness for our scouts to explore. We are located at 2600 Winterbottom Rd, Morris, Il

How you can be prepared for Summer Camp?

Summer camp and our other camps at Rainbow Scout Reservation are the place our Scouts look forward to all year long. We have scheduled activities to help Scouts reach their advancement goals. There are so many memories and experiences to be had this summer

Rainbow Council as well as the National organization might require The Annual Health and Medical Record to help protect Scouts and the organization. Lack of prior knowledge can lead to failing to recognize a dangerous situation. We never want to allow a Scout who might not be up to a task to be placed in a dangerous situation. We use these forms as a tool for safety and awareness for everyone involved.

A big part of the Scouting uniform is being prepared. Some events and activities require different attire specific to the environment. Most importantly is learning what is appropriate. To help Scouts be prepared in a camping environment, our Summer Camp teams has put together a general packing list for our camping environment at RSR. Check which camping list works for our overnight events, and use these as tools for your Scout or Unit in future camping activities and overnights!
