Looking for a place to have your monthly camping trip? Rainbow Scout Reservation is the gem of Rainbow Council. We have several primitive campsites and cabins available for rent. Book RSR to be you home away from home. Our beautiful 700 Acre Camp is full of trails for hiking and exploring. Our large campsites are easily accessed year round and have all the basics to help you make camp. We even from time to time have piles of firewood for your use! Why not book a weekend where you know what to expect and without the hassles of state parks. If you would like to know more about each campsite or have any questions about sponsoring a site, call the service center at 815-942-4450 and we can provide you with additional information.

Looking for some time on the range with your scouts? Are costs keeping you from booking other places? No more! Rainbow Scout Reservation encourages you to call and book our range for an hour or even a day. Our prices are low and you get lots of time to shoot. Make it a whole weekend event and book a cope challenge day as well.
Aquatics
Enjoy the Mazon River from the safety of Rainbow Scout Reservation.

Firebowl
Located at Rainbow Scout Reservation, seats 100
In 2023, thanks to the help and generosity of numerous volunteers and donors, we were able to build the our remarkable firebowl. There have been countless meetings and camps that have already been privileged to experience our firebowl at camp RSR. Rental does not include lights or sound. Reservation is not guaranteed until you receive a confirmation email from the office.
