What can my Scout expect from Cub Scout Family Camp?
At Cub Scout Family Camp, your Scout can look forward to a thrilling mix of activities, from traditional Scouting experiences like hiking and campfires to hands-on opportunities for earning advancements and awards. The camp provides a fun, supportive environment where every day is packed with adventure.
Who can attend Cub Scout Family Camp?
Cub Scout Family Camp is open to Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos and AOL Scouts. It’s a fantastic opportunity for young Scouts to immerse themselves in the scouting program, build confidence, and make new friends—all while enjoying the great outdoors.
What should Scouts bring to camp?
Download Packing ListYour Scout should pack essentials such as a sleeping bag, comfortable clothes for various weather conditions, sturdy shoes, toiletries, and a flashlight. Don’t forget to include any necessary medications and a refillable water bottle. A detailed packing list will be provided to ensure nothing is overlooked.
How can parents get involved?
A parent or guardian is required to camp with their Scout until Webelos rank. Then, following national standards, Webelos and AOL Scouts can camp with their Den. Your involvement helps ensure the smooth operation of camp activities and maintains our youth protection standard. Please complete the Youth Protection Training available at My.Scouting.org.
